Michelle & Mikel’s Adventure | Romantic Franklin Falls Engagement Photos

These Franklin Falls engagement photos are some of our favorites from this year. Franklin Falls has been on our radar for some time to use for a session, and when Michelle and Mikel wanted a woodsy feel for their engagement photos, we knew it was time to pull Franklin Falls out. Also a plus, is Franklin Falls is dog friendly so they could bring their two adorable pups along to the session! Michelle and Mikel loosened right up from the start of their session, which helped us capture their relationship perfectly – and some of our favorite images (I mean, they made our homepage gallery TWICE guys.) The big elephant in the room the entire time we were at the waterfall was whether or not someone was going to get in the waterfall at the end of the session. We knew we’d snapped some pretty epic and romantic photos on the shore of the pool, but actually getting IN was a whole new level. Good news for us – Mikel was totally committed. He swooped Michelle off her feet, and went barefoot into the freezing cold water. We always try to be at least as adventurous as we ask our couples to be during their session – but Darryl Ann only went in ankle deep. We love when engagement sessions end on epic high notes like this one did!
