Carly & Mike | Winter Snoqualmie Pass Gold Creek Pond Engagement Photos

We spent a lot of time up at Snoqualmie Pass this winter for engagement sessions, but one of our favorite sessions was our snowy hike to Gold Creek Pond with Carly and Mike. The pass can be extremely busy on the weekends in the winter, but we had the place to ourselves on a sunny Tuesday morning. We had initially heard about Gold Creek Pond through another S&P couple, who are getting married there this spring, and we figured the view would be amazing in the winter as well. Turns out, we were absolutely right, but you put in a lot more work to get there! We were lucky enough to have a fresh snowfall the night before, so walking the 1 mile to the pond was gorgeous with the snow on the trees – and melting off the trees on the way back. We had such a blast with these two. They were so fun-loving, and such good sports about all the trudging we did in the snow for that awesome view. Even though we won’t be joining them on their wedding day, we’re so glad we were able to capture their engagement photos anyway!
