Blake & Brad’s Adventure | A snowy engagement session in the mountains at Alpental

It was a crummy day for skiing, but it turned out to be an awesome day for an engagement session in the mountains for Blake and Brad. We met them at Alpental Ski Area on a Sunday morning in January when the temperature was hanging out just above freezing. It was drizzling something. You couldn’t tell if it was rain or snow, but we didn’t care. We all hopped out of our cars and towards the snowiest path we could find to start shooting. Blake and Brad were so much fun to work with. They immediately fell right into their normal groove, just being themselves in front of our cameras. Exploring the mountains of Washington is something Blake and Brad did together back when they were just friends, and it continues to be their weekend get-a-way. Together we walked as far as we could go without snowshoes, climbed on some questionably stable piles of snow, hid from the precipitation on a covered bridge, and warmed up a little by the fire at the end of our adventure. It was the best kind of engagement session because it included two of our favorite things; love and mountains.
