Kiana Lodge Wedding

A wedding at Kiana Lodge is quintessentially Pacific Northwest. They are a waterfront wedding venue in Washington and overlook the Agate Pass. Kiana Lodge is one of the elusive wedding venues that is a photographer’s dream. There are so many beautiful spots for photos, a private beach, and both manicured and natural locations.

It was obvious to us that this couple wanted to prioritize celebrating with their family and friends on their wedding day. Their relationships with their loved ones and their experience was so important. They spent their whole cocktail hour talking and taking photos with their guests while they chatted and played games on the lawn. 

When it came time for toasts they were plentiful and heartfelt. There weren’t very many dry eyes by the end. Then, the couple stood up and shared a bit of time on their day to celebrate one of their guest’s birthdays before they took things to the dancefloor.

A wedding like this one is such a pleasure to photograph. We had plenty of time to be creative with portraits before the ceremony. Once guests arrived, it was all about capturing the wedding events candidly while the bride and groom enjoyed their day. Kiana Lodge is a beautiful wedding venue inside and out!
