Snowy Engagement Session at Alpental | Seattle Wedding Photographers
Vic & Kate’s Adventure | A romantic snowy engagement session at Alpental
Last fall, Kate and Vic’s engagement session was completely rained out. I mean, we were soaked after only an hour. So, we resolved to meet back up in January for a snowy engagement session at Alpental ski lodge. We practically lived on our weather app all day, because the forecast was right on the edge between rain and snow. We took the chance and drove into the mountains anyway, and a mile before our exit for the mountain, the rain turned to snow! Shooting in the snow was so surreal, and the mountains were insanely gorgeous. We arrived at Alpental just before sunset, because we had a little something special up our sleeves for these two. We brought a couple strings of lights with us, and created a romantically lit winter scene. (You’d never guess we were right at the edge of a parking lot, and our car was parked right behind us!) If Kate and Vic were cute and cuddly before, they snuggled in closer as it got darker, lit only by the vintage lights. I’m so glad mother nature gave us snow instead of rain for these two. We can’t wait for their April wedding in Issaquah!
